The Tumon Beach tourist area, along with Marine Corps Drive north and south of there, may be the night time party zone of Guam.
But a mid-day tour on Sunday through Merizo (Malizo) shows this strip was the Day Time Party Capital of Guam today.
At least a dozen family gatherings must have been celebrating this afternoon. It may have been the festival of Saint Dimas.
Today I went to a smashing great party there, complete with one roast domestic pig (70 Lbs) and one roast wild pig (30 Lbs). The host shot the wild pig as it was invading his garden.
Received an invitation to a fiesta next week in Inarajan, in honor of Saint Jose.
